Summary

Senior engineer with twenty years of designing robust architectures, mastering complex domains and driving transformation. I turn ambiguity into clear models and scalable systems. An early adopter of AI-augmented engineering, I use LLMs and autonomous agents to amplify delivery, code quality and team capabilities.

“Engineering, augmented by AI, pushes boundaries to tackle tomorrow's challenges.”

Experience

  1. 2021 — present
    Fully remote from Gap

    Senior Software Engineer · A Paris scale-up

    Build robust, scalable systems at high velocity.

    • Designed and implemented the initial platform: domain-driven microservices, a CQRS framework, an event-based system (Kafka, Google Pub/Sub), Redis, engineering practices.
    • Delivered the first production-ready version of the platform.
    • Contributed to the POS integration ecosystem:
      • – integrated a POS aggregator for rapid market entry;
      • – built a POS simulator to speed up development cycles;
      • – automated testing and living documentation;
      • – implemented a complex POS integration (Spain).
    • Put in place the loyalty system.
    • Led the internal tooling team:
      • – introduced a Retool-based low-code platform;
      • – experimented with n8n automations and AI blocks;
      • – developed an AI agent that processes reimbursement cases securely, under internal rules.
    • Improved the financial platform and pipelines: reliability, performance, reconciliation accuracy.
    • Pioneered AI-augmented engineering:
      • – advocated IDE agents: Cline, Cursor, Augment Code;
      • – experimented with autonomous CI/CD agents for reviews, pull requests and security;
      • – integrated Notion, Linear and in-house MCP servers;
      • – orchestrated a full codebase transformation for reconciliation with a continuous AI agent.
